Did you know that a house mouse can squeeze through a gap that is the size of a dime. The House Mice not only can wreak-havoc in your home but they can also spread disease with their droppings, urine, saliva and nesting materials.  The house mouse typically breeds year round and can produce 6-12 mouse pups per litter. When a house mouse finds their way into your home or business they seek shelter as they look to build their nest in a secure warm, dry location that is close to a food source. 

Deer Mouse are also a common pest issue, although both the field mouse and house mouse will live in forests and a natural environment, if they find their way into your home they will claim it for themselves. Both mice breeds can cause illness. The Deer mouse or also known as a field mouse.  Both rodents can carry a virus that causes Hantavirus Pulmonary Syndrome. Sometimes the deer mouse can be easily mistaken for a house mouse, however their habits differ as the Deer mouse tends to hoard crumbs of food vs the house mouse.
